in 2006, a young woman was driving her car and using her mobile phone.  she lost control of her car, and she was killed.

the next day, the local news played back her message as part of their coverage of this story.  we hear her leaving a private message to her fiance, we hear her suddenly gasp, then we hear nothing.

thousands of people, sitting in their easy chairs, have just become the hapless audience to a primetime snuff film.

this piece is designed to tell her tragic story, and it also calls into question the perverse nature of sensationalized journalism.
